If you know nothing about HTML or CSS and dont' know the difference between FTP and HTTP then we can do you a Joomla site (like this one) where you can edit the contents of your site with your favourite browser (Internet Explorer / Firefox) with a nice editor.

- 1st Jan: Well it's the end of the decade and start of a new one. A new year makes you ponder what you did useful the previous year and look toward the next. Happy New Year!
- I don't usually mention secular movies on this site, especially ones about end of the world, but one documentry called 'Waiting for Armageddon' caught my attention. Obviously I haven't watched it yet and have no idea what slant it will portray. Still, it might be one more thing that gets people to think about eternity.

Our church ordered a batch of 'God of Wonders' DVD that ended up being about $6 a disc. Good resource for giving to unsaved relatives or workmates as gifts for Christmas. You can buy single copies from Koorong but they are a lot more expensive.

My Utmost for his Highest by Oswald Chambers. I was given a copy of this book by an Uncle quite a while ago. It's not just light fluff like some devotionals, but you really have to think about what he is saying.
Anyway you can now read it online at RBC free.

Darwin: The voyage that shook the world has been released on DVD. I just got my copy and found it quite interesting and a balanced look at Darwin's life that could be used as a tool for outeach. Comes with a study guide with links to articles on the creation.com site. www.thevoyage.tv is the site for the film or order at creation.com

This is an interesting link that a friend sent me. It's a project that is geocoding all the places mentioned in the Bible. Looks like there is a google earth import there as well so you can view it using the Google Earth viewer.

The new Sermons page contains a searchable index of sermons available from the various Independant Baptist church site sermon resources. 
Search function is now fixed to include the church database so you can quickly search for church details at the top right of the site at any page.- Wesburn Baptist Church have a new website.
RBC Ministries have an excellent site. If you haven't been there before have a look. They have Our Daily Bread online as well as all the Discovery series booklets for download in PDF format in case you missed getting them in the mail. 
They also have a new site which contains some free courses that may be of interest. - This is kind of off topic, but worth a mention anyway. If you use Firefox web browser instead of IE and download a plug in called AdBlock Plus it will block all the ads that are so annoying on the web. More details at the Adblock page. Basically just go Tools, Add-ons in Firefox and search for Adblock plus and install it. Then subscribe to the top list once you restart Firefox as prompted and you are set. It will download updates when available. It's free of course.
- Brand new site, powered by the Joomla content management system. Much nicer than the old one and so easy to update.
- Added 'Map' link to the churches page also which will go directly to a google maps page and search for the church address.
- Aus Travel Map now has a new feature. Each church marker has a 'Google Map' link which when clicked will open up a new window with google maps searching that address so you can use street view and other additional new features on google maps.
- Download the Bible for your phone free. KJV available. Click Here for Go Bible. Also download in MP3 format from audiotreasure.com. It's been around a while but might be useful to someone. Click Here
- Clarence Valley Baptist have a new site. I neglected so post a link a while ago so here it is.
- Christian Classics Library is an excellent place to get free downloadable or browse commentarys from authors such as Matthew Henry and others.
- Creation Ministries have a new website.
- They have also almost finished the Darwin documentary film project timed to be finished this year because it's the 150th anniversary of Darwin. Visit www.darwinfilm.com for more details. Looks to be a very interesting topic. Film trailer available on the creation.com site.
- Updated the travel page so it shows the pastor of each church with an email link if they have email.

Day of Discovery is an online video library by RBC ministries (publishers of Our Daily Bread) with many interesting programs.
- Sorry about the unstability of the site. The 45 degree Adelaide weather seems to be causing problems with my ADSL modem or the ISP or something. The link lasts 20 seconds then drops for 20 during the heat of the day.
- GiveMeTruth.net Forums, Blogs and other resources. The purpose of givemetruth.net, an interactive Fundamentalist community, is to develop a network of edifying relationships, to nurture a sincere pursuit of and love for the truth, and to cultivate an environment in which believers can be conformed to the image of Christ for the glory of God.
Creation magazine LIVE looks to be an interesting new series by Creation Ministries International. You can download video of all the series for free distribution as they become available. Perhaps if you have a broadband connection you could download a set for your church library to share with those that wouldn't otherwise have access to this, and perhaps convert them to normal DVD Video for those that don't have a computer.- Missions Map. Here is a world map showing where our missionaries are currently based. If there is one missing and you have the details, send them to us to update the map.
- Travel. Are you travelling interstate and want to find a church? Here's a google maps application that will show independant Baptist churches so you can find the nearest when away from home. Whilst we have done our best to make these markers accurate, please confirm where you are going. If you want your church added or updated on this list, just send us your street address, suburb, state and we'll update the database.

- Verse of the Month on the right hand column hadn't changed for about two years. I've setup a table with some key verses and it now randomly picks one out to display.
- NBF 08 Video Downloads are now available.
- Bible Map Tool This is a google maps tool that will let you select a number of Bible locations and it will be displayed on a google map with flags to each location. Thanks to Julian for this little application.
